Daily Prayer: Lord Jesus, you are the Christ

Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, Apostles

Lord Jesus, you are the Christ, the living son of God. Unto Simon Peter you gave the authority of the earthly Church, that the world might be gathered into one house and united in anticipation of the world to come. Keep your Church strong, O Lord, and keep her on the right path, that the authority of Peter may be never squandered nor diminished. Amen.
