Memorial of St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr
Lord Jesus, our world struggles, caught between the needs of the state and the needs of the soul. One seeks to hold us to the world, the other to set us free to ascend to the Father. Let us give to the world what belongs to the world, but preserve for God what is his, and hold loyal to our true Lord and master. Amen.
