Reflection
A “particular examen” means taking a close look at a fault to be overcome or a virtue to be strengthened. Clever — wise — St. Faustina combines two virtues (a closer union with Christ through, and in, silence) and then takes the result to Mary as a gift. And every Mother loves receiving a flower from her child.
Prayer
Dear Lord, help me look more closely at my virtues and grow stronger in them. By the end of this month dedicated to Mary, I want to have a “bouquet” ready for Your Mother.
Jesus, I trust in You.
