Lord God, humanity has sinned against you, and we are obstinate against your mercy. Soften our hearts, O, Lord, that we may welcome your messengers and look toward your son, Jesus Christ for our redemption. Let us receive your word with patience and understanding Lord, and integrate it into our lives.
