Turkey apple sausage patties

Ingredients

    Heat up a hearty breakfast this winter

    • 1 lb. ground turkey
    • ½ Red Delicious apple, peeled, cored, and diced
    • 1 large garlic clove, minced
    • 1 teaspoon dried sage
    • ½ teaspoon each of salt, dried thyme, and ground fennel
    • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1⁄8 teaspoon ground coriander
Instructions

In a large bowl,combine all of the ingredients, mixing well. Form 8 patties. On a lightly
sprayed nonstick indoor grill pan or skillet, cook the patties over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until they are completely cooked.
