The foundation hopes to place a peace lamp in every church in the world as a reminder of the need to pray and work for peace in the Holy Land. “A good Christian is a bridge builder,” says Father Raed. “To be a bridge here means to be a bridge between Palestinians and Israelis, between East and West, between Christians and Muslims, etc.” He urges Americans to visit the Holy Land as a sign of solidarity and a step towards peace.
