He's wise, gentle, and patient.
He taught you the ways of your Catholic faith.

Express your appreciation for your father and all he has done for you by entering Catholic Digest's “Why My Dad Is The Best” contest. All submissions will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of five gift subscriptions to Catholic Digest or Living with Christ.

How: Tell us in 200 words or less why YOUR dad is best. Send your article to us at dadsthebest@catholicdigest.com. You can tell us your personal stories, your dad's accomplishments, or challenges that he has overcome. Tell us how why you feel he is the best dad in the whole world. Feel free to include a picture or two with your story. The first 25 submissions will be posted on the CatholicDigest.com website. Please submit only one entry.

Deadline: July 5, 2010

When: Winners will be announced on CatholicDigest.com August 1, 2010. Contest judges, editors of Catholic Digest magazine, will select the top five entries.

Terms and Conditions

No purchase necessary to enter the contest or to win. Five winners will be chosen. Entries must contain your full contact information as requested. Upon the deadline, entries will be randomly chosen. Decisions are final and binding. Entry constitutes permission to have your name and/or submission announced to our mailing list subscribers and also posted here at catholicdigest.com. Winners will be notified within 24 hours of the drawings/judging at the e-mail address provided upon entering the contest. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Any winner notification returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. One entry per dad. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. All Gift Subscriptions will be sent via mail and winner.
