  • I personally have always favored adding the words to the Our Father, "For Thine is the kingdom..." I have been saying it that way for many years. I have also developed the habit whenever I hear the siren of a police car on its way to an accident, or that of an ambulance, of saying the Our Father, a Hail Mary and the Trinity Prayer for whomever might be in need.

  • I too pray whenever I hear a siren, both for the people needing help and for the safety of those driving the emergency vehicles.
