  • A rather frivolous question, but could anyone tell me their favorite Catholic Mom blogs who don't homeschool, but send their kids to a brick and mortar school? Are there any? I've found so many homeschooling ones and just adore them and regularly follow them. I have some kids in school and one homeschooled, but next year with a new baby coming, all of my school aged kids will be going to the local Catholic school. And I would love to read a blog that includes the craziness of carline and school schedules, etc. while still living a devoted Catholic life. I notice that when I read the homeschooling blogs, I tend to long for a life that we are not currently called to, and I know that is not a good thing-I want to find peace in where God has us now, but do find a tremendous amount of inspiration in the blogs out there. God bless!

  • Mama Smiles is one that I can think of off hand. I'm pretty sure she's Catholic, and pretty sure her kids go to school (she talks about after-school activities she does with them). Her blog has really good craft ideas.

  • Simcha Fisher currently has several of hers in school - I Have to Sit Down is her blog. If I had to give up the whole rest of the internet, her writing is the one thing I'd keep.

  • Ladies, I could really use some prayers today. I'm having to deal with a difficult work situation and being 6 months pregnant is not helping me be the calm, cool, and collected person I need to be to make this situation better. Thank you.

  • Jenny, I'll be praying for you. Also, thanks, everyone, for the great idea of checking out Catholic Mom blogs. My kids go to a public school, but I am looking for Catholic crafts, lessons to supplement CCD. Thank you and be well!

  • I have a question for Rebecca - Back on Faith and Family, you mentioned a biography of Saint Francis that led to your conversion. My son is being confirmed this year and has selected Saint Francis as his saint. Would you recommend the book for a fifteen year old? What's the title? Thanks so much. Kelly Dolin
