  • I have to say, I impressed myself with the loaf of stale french bread we didn't eat in time. I made an appetizer with it by slicing it into thin slices. Then I took a 16oz block of cream cheese and added about a cup (really just a big spoon full) of Helman's mayo and some chopped sundried tomatoes and then cayenne pepper to taste. I mixed these up and slathered the sliced bread and then topped with the olive mix I use for muffalottas. I then baked them in the oven at 350 degrees until toasty. They were the hit of the party!
