  • Sorry folks, might know I'd leave one out. We also must never forget the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995, when one of our own attacked us. I know some are still dealing with that particular devastation, and my prayers are with them and all who have experienced such horror.

  • I truly enjoyed Mary's article. It sure does make you think.. and thats what we all should do.. I like the idea of national prayer.. and realizing how lucky we all are to have such a great country and thanking God for all he has done for us. And to also pray for all the people who have done so much for us.. And given so much for us.. Mary is definitely a gifted author and writer.. I hope she writes more articles.

  • Nicely thought provoking! Thanks, Mary! I was with my mother in the hospital where she was having carotid artery surgery. The disaster was a little unreal because we were so worried about Mom!

  • Mary, I think this is the best one yet. As I read, a flood of emotion filled my heart. Yes, I remember where I was .... but you reminded me I need to take a look at where I AM now. Prayer ...... the answer!

  • Thanks to everyone for your kind words. Wouldn't it be nice for everyone to get back to more prayer, together and individually. Blessings!

  • I remember where I was for 4 of the above. We all felt a sense to protect our country and had great pride for our country after 9/11, and that pride was broadcast for all to see. I remember looking at my then 2 young boys and being so scared for them. I prayed without words because I couldn't find the words needed but knew God knew. Sometimes I think we need a news program that only shows good winning against evil and positive things that go on. Possibly take the "real" news stories and show something good. I wonder how catching that would be to those that watched it. Think the "pass it on" PSA's only in real life. Start the whole thing out with the world prayer day. Thanks Mary.
