  • Telling our stories is vastly important. Even the story of Jesus was recorded and told over and over again. Thank you for sharing this one. Bless those victims and their families. Bless you too.

  • Connie, as I read this, my heart ached for all the poor folks involved, even for the family of the young man who did the shooting. I truly believe we are meant to be community with one another, all over the world. Perhaps if he had felt a part of something bigger than himself, it would never have happened. We will never know. God bless you for your efforts to build community, while respecting the lives of those involved. You are a treasure.

  • My heart goes out to everyone in Tucson. This was a sad day for Tucson and the whole nation. May God continue to bless us and open our hearts and minds to find common ground at this time when our nation is so divided. May God continue to bless you. Thank you for this wonderful article.

  • I'm so sorry to hear that you have such a close connection to the tragedy. Your article expressed to me that such a tragedy does affect everyone and should unite us all to remember our real purpose on Earth. God gave you an amazing gift to be able to put these hard situations into comforting words.

  • Bravo Connie; we need to continue to pray for all involved. My heart goes out to Suzie Hileman; I can only imagine how hard it is to not take the death of Christina personally.

  • Thank you for sharing this story. I understand what you mean when you said you hesitated to share your connection to those involved. It seems like when we do find the courage or the right time to share something personal with someone we trust, we are offered in reply the support and strength we need to cope. Thank you for trusting us.
