How do you choose which NFP method to follow? I need a refresher course, and there are a lot more options than when I was first married many years ago!

Hi Jane-- I think the answer to your question depends on how you want to check your fertility indicators. This website gives an overview of different methods and may be helpful: http://iusenfp.com/home/nfp-methods/?doing_wp_cron=1353528545.5947821140289306640625 I use Marquette, and I really like it because the monitor helps confirm my mucus readings, about which I've always been a little unsure. I've also heard really good things about Creighton. Good luck!

Initially, I chose Family of the Americas because courses were offered close to home. I'll be having a baby soon, and I've heard that Marquette is the best post-partum. Do any of you agree or have other recommendations?

I used Marquette during the post-partum phase for the first time after my 3rd baby, intending to use it only until my cycles came back. After my first two pregnancies I was really unsure about my mucus signs--I seemed to have mucus all the time, and Marquette helped give me confidence about that. Anyway, I liked Marquette well enough to stick with it, even after my cycles came back.
