  • Any thoughts on the best sippy cups and water bottles? In general, I like the stainless ones for keeping drinks cold. I have such trouble, though, keeping the straws, stoppers, and little crevices from getting gunky. I replace the straw parts on my big kids' water bottles and stoppers on the little one's sippy but they seem to get dirty so quickly and there's always spots I can't reach with a bottle brush or toothbrush. Thanks!

  • We have used Klean Kanteens for a few years. There is a lid with a straw/sipper thing on it, but we just have screw-on lids and drink straight from the canteen. We also have stainless steel bottles from Thermos. These are fabulous. They are double walled and stay cold forever. There is a straw lid, but the plastic/rubber straw part pops out of the lid and things can be washed a little better that way. Also try a bottle brush (especially one with a tiny nipple brush) to get the bottoms of the canteens and straw clean.
