Welcome to the launch of the Voices of Catholic Digest blog.

Over the coming months, you will hear the personal stories of people who share your desire to live a faith-filled Catholic life. For each of these writers, living out the teachings and traditions of the Church is a daily challenge that they approach with imperfect faith and humor. In other words, they are regular Catholics just like you and me.

It is our hope that you will find inspiration and validation in the blog posts. Our bloggers live in different parts of the country, have different professions and are at different stages of life. Their unique perspectives find common ground in trying to understand what it means to be part of the Body of Christ; how to integrate Catholic teachings into “real” life; and how to discuss their faith with others.

As we embark on this journey together, please share your opinions in the comments section. Join the conversation as we learn, laugh and pray with each other.

  • Hi Annie, I like what you've said about imperfect faith and humor. I think that sometimes we think everyone else has it down pat and we are the only ones that struggle to live a faith-filled life. We are all on the same journey, as you've said. We can help each other by sharing our struggles. All the best!

  • Thanks for the New Look and feel to the website it is a great improvement. I agree with Anne Gildea, we all think others have it all figured out as we struggle with our everyday faith, but we know and treasure the fact that we have a strong foundation in God and we can lean on him in bad times and rejoice with him in good times. Let the new year bring good times and let us all rejoice in God's hand in all that we say and do.
