Colleen, I think you have spoken to all of us here. I know you've spoken to me. We all want that pat on the back, that word of praise that says we are doing a good job and someone sees us. We all feel the same from time to time. Thanks for reminding me that I am a servant, and just where my place is supposed to be in all this. Bless you dear heart.

I read your article Colleen and I said to myself, is someone reading my thots. Thank you for reminding me that I am God's servant and to ask for humility to continue to work for Him, without seeking praise.

Hi Colleen, I'm in a paid job and it's recently gotten difficult to continue at it. I agree it is difficult to continue doing what we do without being accorded any form of recognition. I have been asking myself if this is what God wants me to do. Your thoughts provide me with a difficult perspective that I find useful in my prayers for guidance.
