Beautifully put, Colleen. I wish we, as humans, could live up to that example every day. Unfortunately, we ARE so human, and so we fail, but keep trying. Also, I believe that God expects us to discipline our children, just with the patience and kindness you have so wonderfully outlined! Blessings!

Colleen, how beautiful and what a reminder that I too went through this when my four daughters were small. They are all grown now and sometimes I miss it, but we encounter new issues when they are old. Thank you for reminding me of what I have been able to survive by the Grace of God.
