  • Wow! I felt much the same way about being angry at God...to the point where I let the anger I thought I wasn't allowed to feel drive a wedge between God and me. It's amazing how much closer I got to God once I "really let God have it."

  • Visiting the sick and dying a very few people that have crossed my path are angry with God and the family, friends and relatives. Forgiveness is important especially when we are ill, preparing for surgery and just living out your life. What matters most is to conform our lives to the image of Christ Jesus and doing the mission of God. In this year's season of lent learn to let go of any angry we have for God and others and ask Him to help us Forgive as Jesus did. What will you do different in this year's season of lent?

  • Roberto, I can't tell if I've offended you or not. If so, please forgive me, I never meant to say one should STAY mad at God. Obviously, if you finally go back into His embrace, you've forgiven. Forgiveness is a large part of what we as Christians are called to. Thanks to you and "unknown" for your input. Many blessings.

  • How funny you should write this blog now! One of the things I have given up for Lent is my anger toward another person. I have given that person over to God ...... now, it's only been 1.5 days and I've done pretty well. Let's talk again in about 38 days!! Thank you, Mary, for your insight, but I still cannot allow myself to be angry with God. I just get ANGRY .... at situations, other people, myself.

  • Wow!! Powerful blog. I can relate to both sides of this scenerio. Keep giving us 'food for thought.' So many 'mysteries' of our faith that we'll finally have answered some day. I guess that's why GOD is GOD and we are NOT!
