  • I need the help og those who have used the clear blue easy monitor. Several months ago I had readings that showed no peak and a long high period (ended almost at my period date). Now, for the next two months, I turn it on and it does not let me test - it shows low every day with no indication that I need to put a test stick in. So now, I cannot even test. Do I need to reset the thing? Both times I put it on 1m on the first day of my period. It flashes red a couple of times after turning it on - then it tells me the day and a low reading. Any suggestions? I am in the middle of the second cycle. Do I need to wait to reset it until my period again? Thanks for your help.

  • I *think* that it should ask you for a test on day 6, but I'm not certain about this. Are you using the Marquette Method? If so (and even if not), I strongly recommend posting on their online forum. The nurse-professors researching the Marquette Method know a lot about what is normal and not normal regarding monitor function. nfp.marquette.edu My guess is that your monitor is malfunctioning and that wiping the data and starting over would help, but I don't advise that you do that until checking with an expert. Good luck!

  • Hi there, I would reset it completely, fast-forward to day 5 {it should let you test in the morning during the window of opportunity}--and change the batteries, too. I'm no expert, but for the last 18 months I have used the monitor, and often get the "no peak and endless high readings". When I checked the website it explained that the monitor will automatically have a "high" reading until there is a peak. So, I pretty much have to completely reset it every month or two. According to my last year and a half, I only have peak readings 1 out of 3...so I have been double-checking my CM to know when I am out of the fertile phase...it's a bit frustrating, I know, but hang in there and check with Marquette for professional answers...good luck.

  • How do you get ask questions to nurses about the Marquette Method? I keep "singing up" and nothing happens. Maybe they are not accepting new people???

  • When I signed up, my registration and login information email got sent to my Junk Mail folder, and I've heard of this happening to others, too. You should hear back from them within a day or two, I think. If it's been longer than that, check you Junk Mail folder. If you're still not having luck, write an email directly to Mary Schneider at Marquette. Her email address is on the Marquette NFP page.
