I’m really happy that the “new” translation will soon be here. In most instances, it’s the same one I grew up with during the 1940s, except for the updating of the pronouns; e.g., “thou" and “thy" have been changed to “you" and “your," etc. This new version is beautiful, poetic, and inspiring, and again is in agreement with its Latin roots, which is as it should be.
