Editor's Statement

It’s an exciting time to be an American Catholic! All elections are important, but the race for the White House is especially crucial this year as we face a wide range of issues with implications for both our faith and our country — from the war in Iraq to health care to abortion, to immigration, to the environment…the list goes on.

That’s why Catholic Digest is offering this special Web page on the 2008 national elections.

We need you to be part of this, too. Tell us what concerns you most in this election, who you are supporting and why, and what questions you would like to ask the candidates.

Please note: Catholic Digest will not endorse any candidate or party. Our purpose is to help Catholics engage in the election process in such a way that our faith makes a difference.

Be sure to check back frequently as we’ll be adding to this site every week. May the Holy Spirit guide all Americans as we prepare to go to the polls.
