Friday of the Sixteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Lord, the world is cruel and we are want to succumb to it. The evil one prowls among us, while others cower in fear of others for testifying to your greatness. Grant us strength, O Lord, that we might proudly proclaim your resurrection and remain stalwart in our refutation of falsehood and evil. Protect our souls, and preserve them until the world itself fades away before a greater one yet to come. Amen.
