Lord God, so as you forgive us our many transgressions, so too must we heed the words of your Son, and forgive those who trespass against us. For should we lack humility and mercy, we shall face the same fate as the fallen angels, whose pride was their downfall. Show us humility, O Lord, that we might humble ourselves to others. Amen.
